Connect an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex)

Let Claude, ChatGPT or Codex check your media plan, approve posts, add ideas and open tickets for you, with your own account and permissions.

What an AI assistant can do for you

Once connected, your assistant works with your own IN-STORE account. It can show what is waiting for your review, open a post, approve it, move it to another time or reject it, ask the writer for changes, add an idea, answer questions about your analytics in plain words, check your reports and digest schedule, search this Help Centre and open a support ticket.

Before it changes anything, the assistant tells you exactly what it is about to do and waits for your yes. Deleting a post and publishing immediately stay in the cabinet.

Subscriptions, invoices, payments and ad spend are never available to AI assistants. They stay in the web cabinet.

Connect Claude

  1. In the Claude app open Settings, then Connectors, and press "Add custom connector".
  2. Paste the address shown in your cabinet under Settings, AI agents. For IN-STORE it is https://in-store.ca/api/mcp.
  3. Press Connect. Sign in to IN-STORE if you are asked, check the permissions and press "Allow". Untick "Make the changes you ask for" if the assistant should only read.

Connect ChatGPT

Find "IN-STORE" in the ChatGPT app directory, press Connect, sign in and press "Allow". Until the listing is approved by OpenAI, ChatGPT custom connectors are available only to admins of Business and Enterprise workspaces: they add the same address as for Claude under Settings, Connectors.

Connect Codex or Claude Code (terminal)

  1. In the cabinet open Settings, AI agents, and press "Create personal token".
  2. Give it a name, choose what it may do and for how long (30, 90 or 365 days), and create it.
  3. Copy the token right away: it is shown only once. The page shows two ready commands for Claude Code and Codex with your token and address filled in.

See and remove connections

Settings, AI agents lists every connected assistant and token, with when it was created and last used. "Revoke" cuts it off immediately: the assistant loses access on its very next request.

If you are unsure what an assistant did, open a ticket and our team will check the record of its requests.
